Hi - how much does it cost to a get a private taxi from ataturk airport to ur hotel in istanbul sultanahmet ? Would it be cheaper to booked an airport transfer before i leave which is £40 return?

Sorry probably this is a late answer Nilly but if you book your airport transfer before hands, you know there will be someone waiting for you, you will have the emergency phone number just incase, and person who will be waiting for you will know where you are going instead off telling them the directions etc. Remember the lingo difficulties aswell.

Istanbul is a big city and there are UN LICENCED taxis which work illegally so they might be abit cheaper than £40 but then remember no insurance no reliablety no responsablety.

That is ofcourse your choice but most of the people would prefer to book it before hands.

Very good service from Holiday Hoppa. I know I am the Moderator of this forum, but I am just a regular traveler like the rest of you, and use Holiday Hoppa alot they are very good. Always get you to your destination with as little fuss as possible, and certainly beet those horrible tour operator transfers.

Welcome to the forum. I go to Icmeler quite a lot. Booked for June next year that will be my 6th time. Icmeler is a beautiful resort and is surounded by pine clad mountains. The resort itself is very adequate, has plenty to offer. There a number of bars, restraunts and shops. Also the good thing about Icmeler, Marmaris is only a 20 min ride away on the Dolmus (local bus service) so you get the best of both worlds.
I have never stayed at the Mirage world, but I know where it is and it is conveniently located for the beach.
