One drew his truncheon the other looked daggers and went to draw his gun.
I laughed very nervously and said "Only a joke"
Boy, was I glad to get out of there, never again will I joke while being frisked.

RE: Share your stories
I remember a couple of years ago I got from Icmeler market a little bag of lavender, I love the smell and is good if you are stressed, did aromatherapy course at college so always on the lookout for stuff like that and I thought I would have a big whiff of it before and on plane to calm me down. It was in a smallish see through bag and looked like just dried plants. BIG MISTAKE, it looked like a bag of marijuana! You should have seen the customs faces light up when they checked my bag, they thought perhaps they had caught a drug smuggler! They always check my hand baggage as I have my nebuliser etc for asthma. I told them is lavender and they all had a good smell before they let me through. Embarrassing though with everyone looking. Wouldn't mind but I don't even smoke and the strongest drug I have is paracetamol. My Mum bless her was in full blonde mode and said I was lucky lavender had a smell but if it didn't I wouldn't have got it and it wouldn't be lavender! Big Grin

Big GrinBig Grin Don't you feel an fool though trying to explain to people who do not understand English very well (or claim they don't bless 'em) exactly what they are looking at...expecially when all the other passengers are watching and probably drawing the wrong conclusion. Your Mum strikes yet another corker Harley. Lol

RE: Share your stories
I got pulled because I bought one of those police batons that flick out they were really cheap from Icmeler market. My thinking was for when walking the dog as he is so stupid he just seems to attract dogs that want to attack him, and also for when walking him at night can never be to careful. Anyway I got pulled asked to step to one side at Dalaman airport luckilly we had matching cases and they choose the wrong one, after looking for about 10 minutes they said we could go. You should of seen the look on my face, I am suprised they didn't keep looking as I must of looked really guilty.
