If you want to find things to do with children young and old and - more importantly - want to feel smug about doing something cultural, hide the Gameboy under the hotel bed and head out to one of the fantastic museums Glasgow has to offer.   Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum has 22 galleries where you can explore everything from art to animals to Ancient Egyptians.  Or how about Glasgows award-winning Riverside Museum with over 3,000 transport-related objects on display.  You'll find skateboards, trains, prams, cars and even (I'm not sure why buts it's awesome), a Stormtrooper.   The Glasgow Science Centre is worth a visit too with loads of activities to keep all ages entertained; interactive exhibits, workshops, shows, a planetarium and an IMAX cinema.  If the kids still aren't mentally and physically on the floor after this, then book them in for an hour at the Tick Tock Unlock escape room while you unwind at a nearby cafe.   Yes, I have the whole trip sorted for you... One more thing; if you spot something looking like a large Armadillo on the move, you've reached the Clyde Auditorium.   Apparently the Sydney Opera House was not the inspiration for this stunning and rather unique shape.  Hmmmm.  Anyway, if you fancy dropping in there you might be lucky enough to a book a show or pantomime....or......thrillingly, a glimpse of Simon Cowell.  X Factor Auditions were held here and legend has it that Susan Boyle herself was discovered here.   There is so much to see and do in and around Glasgow, I haven't touched on half of it.  But it is a fantastic city - at any time of year - so put it on your list of places to go!
