The best place to see them at any time is on the North Norfolk coast at Blakeney Point, but can can spot them in the summer at Hunstanton or in the winter at Horsey beach. Away from the glorious beaches, how about a trip through the Norfolk Broads? The man-made waterways are 125 miles long and set in beautiful countryside with charming towns and villages along the way. The best way to see this National Park is by boat, and you can hire a motor cruiser with all the comforts you need for a day trip or longer. Moor up along the way to explore a town or stop for a bite to eat at one of the pubs on route. The rolling countryside of Norfolk and the picturesque flint-built villages are ideal for cycling, walking or touring by car. There are several impressive stately homes for an enjoyable day out and most of the village have beautiful medieval churches to explore. Lively towns like Burnham Market and Holt offer great shopping for local wares and produce and the historic city of Norwich is also well worth a visit.
