On a windy day at Lancing beach you will see the sea filled with kite-surfers, in other locations along the coast try sailing, paddle-boarding, windsurfing and fishing. West Wittering is a glorious long stretch of sandy beach and a very popular place for a holiday, located at the entrance of Chichester harbour.  The town of Chichester itself is lovely and worth a visit and from here you can walk (or cycle) to the pretty quayside village of Bosham. The rolling green pastures of the South Downs National Park and surrounding areas which make up much of West Sussex, are amongst some of the most beautiful in the country.  Hiking or cycling around is a great way to see some of the most popular landmarks, stopping off on the way to explore some of the beautiful towns like Petworth, Midhurst and Arundel.
