Our beautiful farm in the heart of the West Sussex countryside. Come and visit our dog exercise field, or book a stay to experience great wild camping and glamping. Little Thakeham Farm is a quiet site on a farm in the West Sussex countryside, a mile and a half (five minutes’ drive) from Storrington. This is a fab location for folk seeking space to stroll or ride bikes: the edge of the South Downs National Park is about a mile away, and you can hit the coast with a drive of 20 minutes or so. Closer to home, there are plenty of public footpaths in the area around the farm, and it’s an easily doable 15-minute wander to the local pub (a cosy country inn with local ales and tasty home cooking, no less). There are more eateries in the nearby town of Storrington, and it’s also the place to pick up whatever you need for a barbecue back at base. There’s plenty of space on site here but the owners keep numbers down to just a handful of pitches, so you’ll never have to share the place with too many other people. Facilities on site have been kept to a bare minimum to preserve the peaceful vibe, but it’s not entirely wild camping as guests will have access to a portable toilet and fresh water.
