# Netherfield Place Farm Campsite

Netherfield Place and Ivylands Farms are situated in the heart of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and 3 miles from the ancient market town of Battle, famed for being the site of the Battle of Hastings in 1066, where William, Duke of Normandy defeated King Harold II of England to become King William I.

The farm owns a number residential and commercial properties that are let on a long-term basis or used to provide holiday accommodation. The farming is focussed on low intensity sheep and cattle farming, and there is a campsite that provides eco-friendly sustainable camping experiences.
