You’ll be nicely placed here for traipses around the Wye Valley and the lush Forest of Dean – and as it’s Wales, the area as a whole is full of ancient castles and abbeys, spectacular scenery and miles of walking trails. Kids will be kept occupied on site at the well-equipped and centrally set play area, with swings, climbing frame, play deck and cabin, ladders, a climbing wall and a sand pit, and grownups are well sorted with the site amenities: Glen Trothy has a launderette, a washing-up room and a toilet and shower block with showers, hand dryers and hairdryers. The facilities are suitable for guests with disabilities.
