Enjoy seaviews and bird-watching from our site on Northumberland's Heritage Coast. Campers pitched at our Beadnell Bay Club campsite are rewarded with stunning sea views over the dramatic Northumberland coast in one direction and the distant Cheviot Hills in the other. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you’ll find it here. The campsite is very spacious and level and boasts modern facilities. There are a couple of pubs and a chippy within walking distance. The magnificent dunes and golden sands of Beadnell Bay, just minutes from our campsite, are excellent for bird watching. Walkers too will enjoy beach walks to nearby Beadnell and Seahouses. Catch a boat from either to the beautiful Farne Islands where you will some more birdlife and colonies of seals. If you’re in to cycling the Coast and Castles and National Cycle Routes pass the site. Northumberland has a number of fascinating castles and fortified buildings waiting to be explored, including medieval Alnwick Castle and impressive Bamburgh Castle right on the coast. In the other direction you will find idyllic countryside - a forgotten paradise. Coast and Castles and National Cycle Routes pass the Club Site. Walkers will enjoy exploring the surrounding Cheviot Hills. The local sand dunes are a haven for birdlife, even in winter. Much of the lovely Northumberland Heritage Coast is designated both a Heritage Coast and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Bamburgh's Grace Darling Museum commemorates the 22-year-old who rescued many sailors in 1838. The medieval Alnwick Castle makes a good day out. It has provided the backdrop for many films and TV series, including Elizabeth, Blackadder and the Harry Potter movies. The Grand Cascade is the largest water feature of its kind in the UK. The Cascade is in Alnwick Garden. Visit some of Northumberland's many castles and fortified buildings - known as bastles and peletowers. These include Kielder, Bamburgh, and Chillingham. Beadnell and Seahouses harbours are famous for watersports, attracting divers, anglers, windsurfers and canoeists. The Club Site has a shower for those in wetsuits. Take a boat from Seahouses to the Farne Islands, home to around 55,000 pairs of nesting puffins.
