We are a family run business who are experienced campers and more recently glampers! Our mission is to provide the best place to camp in Pembrokeshire and our view is that camping is only camping if you can have a campfire. We welcome families and well behaved dogs are also welcome. We are 4th generation farmers passionate about maintaining traditional farming practices, we are striving to broaden our produce and sell 100% of this fresh from the farm shop in order to make this small coastal farm commercially viable. My great grandfather moved to Penally and farmed at Bubbleton in the 1940’s and my grandfather who lives in the farm house grew potatoes, milked cows and had a beef herd here before retiring in the 90’s, now my father and I and our two son’s are planning to the future and are delighted to welcome tourists to enjoy our beautiful location at Beck’s Bay. We want you to enjoy the unspoilt countryside and enjoy a different pace of life in the open countryside, share a campfire, explore the coastpath (you can trek the whole coast of Wales from Beck’s Bay), enjoy a catalogue of Wales best beaches on our doorstep. Whether you’re a couple seeking romance or a family looking for a cool adventure holiday you will be most welcome here and we will do everything to ensure you have seriously fun time.
Accommodation types
- Frankshore Shepherds Hut — Set in an idyllic, secluded area in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park within walking distance of two beaches, this gorgeous Shepherds Hut is a unique glamping escape. The shepherds hut is set in its own field, and is a 5 minute walk to Becks Bay Camping field. Furnished in a delightful antique Welsh style, it is a beautifully finished, hand crafted Shepherd's Hut by the sea, with a bathroom and kitchen, and a wood burning stove. Open the stable door whilst cooking your breakfast and then enjoy the blissfully peaceful rolling landscape while you dine. The ensuite bathroom has a flushing toilet and hot shower and wash basin, the kitchen and bedroom has a belfast sink, gas hob, fridge freezer (small one), chest of drawers, log burner, double bed and seating for 2. It is also supplied with mains power. It has a stereo, hair dryer and also a toaster. Our farm is ideally located just two miles from Tenby and three miles from Manorbier. It is connected to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which is perfect for walking to nearby beaches: Lydstep is a 15 minute walk to the West and Penally 20 minutes to the East. Trefloyne and Tenby golf clubs are also within walking distance.
- Swan Lake — A delightfully finished bell tent for a luxury camping experience – with a proper mattress and bedding provided. We furnish all our bell tents to the highest standard for a luxury camping experience. Comes with your own BBQ / firepit, picnic bench, and beach hamper (crockery). We have 2 shared stoves inside and also outside of the Glampers kitchen facility (shared by 5 tents).
- Barafundle Yurt — Our Barafundle Yurt is a 6m diameter yurt new for 2022 and comes with it’s own hot shower and flushing toilet outside. Inside it is fully furnished to sleep 4 (1 double bed and 2 singles), it has a log burner and also a clear star gazing dome cap. Book our lovely new 6m Yurt which we will furnish for you, so that you can camp in style – with a proper mattress and bedding provided. We furnish all our bell tents to the highest standard for a luxury camping experience. Our Yurt comes with Picnic Table, BBQ / Firepits and cooking equipment inc Kettle, frying pan, saucepan etc and all the essential crockery required. We also provide lighting – all you need is a towel, but we do recommend you bring your own torch as a back up. Bag of logs – £5 per bag.
- Sand Top — A delightfully finished bell tent for a luxury camping experience – with a proper mattress and bedding provided. We furnish all our bell tents to the highest standard for a luxury camping experience. Comes with your own BBQ, picnic bench, and beach hamper (crockery). We have 2 shared stoves inside and also outside of the Glampers kitchen facility (shared by 5 tents).
- grass pitches — Pitch your own tent – book a pitch in our field and camp with a stunning view on the surrounding hills, but with the sound of the sea hitting the cliffs one field away. Instantly hot shower and toilets to hand, so that you can enjoy the open countryside, but in comfort. Campers are allowed campfires. Dogs welcome.
- Church Door Cove — A delightfully finished bell tent for a luxury camping experience – with a proper mattress and bedding provided. We furnish all our bell tents to the highest standard for a luxury camping experience. Comes with your own BBQ / firepit, picnic bench, and beach hamper (crockery). We have 2 shared stoves inside and also outside of the Glampers kitchen facility (shared by 5 tents).
- 'Fresh West' Spacious 6m Bell Tent — This tent is furnished beautifully just like our standard sized tents but is bigger - the 6m diameter makes it a more spacious alternative. A delightfully finished bell tent for a luxury camping experience – with a proper mattress and bedding provided. We furnish all our bell tents to the highest standard for a luxury camping experience. Comes with your own BBQ / firepit, picnic bench, and beach hamper (crockery). We have 2 shared stoves inside and also outside of the Glampers kitchen facility (shared by 5 tents).
