# Stamford Caravan And Motorhome Club Site

Stamford Club Site is set in a tranquil, open meadowland location surrounded by attractive woodland. The caravan park is a superb place for leisurely wanderings in lovely landscapes; birds, deer and a profusion of wild flowers will delight the senses. Within a short distance from the caravan park you have the town of Stamford - one of the most perfectly preserved stone towns in England, it has a rich history and boasts many historic medieval buildings (BBC's Middlemarch was filmed here).

Also within easy access from Stamford Club Site, you can opt for a romantic cruise on the Rutland Belle or enjoy a scenic walk along the 27 miles of Rutland Water shoreline. There are cycling paths and forest walks conveniently leading from the caravan site entrance and for garden lovers, Geoff Hamilton's horticultural legacy - Barnsdale Gardens at Oakham - are superb. Tucked away in the woods is a wildlife hide, ideal for watching birds, insects and other wildlife such as deer.

Please note: this site does not have a toilet block.
