# The Cressing Temple Barns

> Explore Essex Country Parks and Places for all the family Explore Essex, helping you to discover the incredible green spaces and places on your doorstep and beyond.

The Cressing Temple Barns could be the biggest associated with Knights Templar's Essex based landholdings boasts the oldest known wooden structure on the planet! So, some serious historical material right here if you should be aiming for that side of things, but wonderful benefits just like the medieval moat (around the farmland) if you would like to soak the atmosphere up and allow their imagination run off using them. A fantastic destination for kids to take photos too - and even a costume and blade if you are feeling indulgent! The gardens are split into knot, nosegay, medicinal and home so provide a pleasingly diverse portrait associated with needs of the home that is traditional. Again it is those types of items that are both pleasing to look at in shallowness but even more fascinating in level, while you as with a bit of work and there are several actually interesting ingredients scattered about. There are picnic tables around the website and designated areas where running and such is completely acceptable, but this is certainly mostly a walk and appearance visit, not a run about and shout go to so you may make this as academic! Having said that you can find available loos and baby changing available so they families that are demonstrably welcome.
