Family farm in Foxton, Cambridgeshire | Meads Farm Camping We welcome campers and caravaners at Meads Farm. Our campsite is on the edge of Foxton village overlooking the lovely Cambridgeshire countryside. Foxton is within easy access to the M11 and A1M motorways, is only 25 mins drive from Cambridge, and there is a direct train line from London Kings Cross. Our campsite offers a relaxing getaway with a range of local attractions and interests and, being a working farm, makes for a great base for your holiday or overnight stay when passing through. The campsite is open all year round! Facilities The site has toilet, shower and indoor washing-up facilities. Five of the pitches have electric hook-up and there are sockets available in reception. The site is suitable for pretty much everyone! Campers, caravans, motorhomes and groups and we welcome dogs. Things to do The beautiful historic university city of Cambridge is within easy reach and only a 10-minute train ride from Foxton. Trains go twice an hour and Foxton train station is a two minute walk from the farm. There are plenty of footpaths across the farm and further afield making us an ideal base for walking and exploring the local area. Likewise, cycling is a regular activity for locals and visitors with good cycle routes and lots to see, on leaving the farm. Grafham Water is only 40 minutes drive away where you can hire a bike and cycle the 10-miles of trails around the reservoir and nature reserve.
