Port a Bhaigh campsite is family run in the township of Altandhu on the Coigach peninsula approx 5 miles from the Township of Achiltibuie.

Port a Bhaigh means Port of the bay as there is a small port at the bottom of the campsite which is ideal for launching small boats and kayaks.

View of the Summer IslesPort a Bhaigh campsite has been built on the family croft which was the owner's mother's croft "Mrs Shona Wilson" and before was Shona's father's "Mr Alisdair Maclean". The croft was used for stock purposes and growing their own vegetables. But now after deciding to diversify and a lot of hard work it is a campsite that can accommodate 42 caravan/motorhomes on level hard stands with 26 of them having electrical hook ups and ample space for 50 tents.

The toilet, shower and laundry block has a very open and airy feel and is available for the site occupants to use 24 hrs, as is the chemical toilet disposal unit. The site also has wifi and access to a payphone which again is available to use 24 hrs. The campsite is set in an idyllic location with the minch and Summer Isles on your door step and we look out onto one of the larger Summer Isles "Isle Ristol".
