Eilean Shona is a stunning privately owned island set at the entrance to Loch Moidart in Argyll. Calculating some 2 miles very long and 1.5 kilometers wide, this island that is gorgeous just a short watercraft ride through the mainland. Eilean Shona is located very nearly distance that is strictly mid the Isles of Mull and Skye and entirely captures the beauty and charm for the West Coast of Scotland. To obtain access to it, you have to hire the island's big house (sleeps up to 22), or take among the sevenwarm and cosy cottages which can be self-catering. Other island inhabitants include red squirrels, pine martens, deer and otter.
