Old Farm Certificated Location

Ringwood, New Forest, England

Old Farm lies just within the beautiful New Forest National Park whilst being only a short walk to the local community and its amenities. It has been a Club member site for over 25 years now, and we are proud to call it our home. Set on a half acre level secluded site, with electric points for all pitches. There is one hard standing for use out of season or if the ground is very soft. We also have a shower and toilet block with adjacent service point available for use during your stay. The price for your pitch includes electric, 2 adults, awning and pets. Dogs must be kept on a lead on site, as per club rules. We try to do all we can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible - please just ask if there’s anything we can do to help. Its very easy to walk or cycle into the New Forest from the site. The area is ideal for serious walkers and those happy to stroll, and with the New Forest offering a large network of cycle routes, both on and off road cyclists are well catered for too. The Avon Valley Path is a well documented route that connects Christchurch and Salisbury, which passes right through Ringwood. If you’d like to borrow a map, please ask. There are nature reserve lakes close by too, including Blashford Lakes for those interested in bird watching and wildlife, and permits are available in Ringwood for the nearby fishing lakes and rivers. For the more adventurous, there are two outdoor watersports centres plus Go Ape at Moors Valley Country Park. There’s a small parade of shops which includes a Tesco’s Express, bakery, off licence and fish and chip shop within 1/4 mile, where there is also a cashpoint and bus stop. There’s also a good pub within 5 minutes walk from the site, and there are lots of other lovely pubs in the area; we’d be happy to suggest some. Ringwood itself is an easy 20-30 minute stroll from the site, which boasts a variety of interesting shops, plenty of places to eat and drink, supermarkets Sainsburys and Waitrose, and we even have our own brewery! Ringwood Market is on a Wednesday and Hampshire Farmers Market is the last Saturday of each month. There is a good bus service connecting Ringwood to Bournemouth, Christchurch, Salisbury and Southampton and a local Ringo service connecting Poulner to Ringwood. We’re very easy to find from the A31. Some Sat Nav systems can have a little difficulty finding exactly where we are, so please include Cowpitts Lane in your destination. The Digital TV signal isn’t very strong. Candace and Rob look forward to welcoming you!
