The Quiet Site is an Award Winning, Carbon Neutral Holiday Park set amongst the stunning fells that overlook Ullswater. Sustainability has been at heart of everything we have done for the last two decades. In 2020 we won a Queens Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development – indeed we are the first ever holiday park in the UK to receive this award. We also have a Green Tourism Gold Award. But don’t worry, being one of the greenest holiday parks in the UK doesn’t compromise our quality. In 2020 we also won the AA Holiday Park of the Year. Indeed we have won numerous Awards over the years. In 2021 we were invited to COP26 in Glasgow to receive a Hero of Net Zero award from the Government.
