Situated close to the famous Sherwood Forest, this campsite offers over 150 pitches across 20 acres of beautiful forestry woodland and will remain open all year round. The site is perfectly located, providing an excellent base to explore the forest with numerous walking and cycling routes. It is also within walking distance to the many activities provided by Forestry England, including adventure playgrounds, Go Ape, bike hire, picnic areas, plus open-air concerts held throughout the year. Sherwood Pines is a full-facility campsite, suitable for all forms of camping with all-weather pitches and electric hook-ups. This site also includes Hardstanding Select as a pitch type, which offers more space on a Hardstanding pitch with electric hook-up, plus fresh water and drainage.
