Situated on Suffolks heritage coast, an area of outstanding natural beauty, Applefields is a quiet family run campsite within easy walking distance of the small town of Leiston. Surrounded by fields and woods, the large flat well drained grass site has 20 pitches all with electric hook-up. We have wash-up facilities, fridges, and a washing machine, 4 individual toilet & shower units including facilities for disabled people. Our site is within walking distance of shops, Restaurants, Steam Museum, Cinema & Sports centre (with swimming pool). The site is approx 3 acres of flat, well draining grassland, even after a heavy rain, our site is still firm under foot, also our part of Suffolk is the driest part of the UK!!. Electric hookups Showers (50p) Disabled facilities & flush toilets. Dog wash area. Free use of picnic benches, Good TV & mobile phone Reception. Close to footpaths across open farmland. Virtually dark skies for star gazing! Washing up area is now available with washing machine (£2.00 per load). If you are new to camping & caravanning, we will help you if you need it! Applefields campsite in Leiston dose not put prices up during the school holidays, just one price all year long! Separate area for groups etc. IMPORTANT; We don't charge a deposit but if you have to cancel, please let us know in good time. Sizewell outage; Although we open on the 1st March we can open early for the Sizewell outage.
