If one of the best things about a campsite is where it’s located then Seathwaite Farm is blessed with a truly stunning location just off the southern end of the Borrowdale Valley, south of Keswick in the Lake District National Park. The farm offers a large camping field suitable for tents and motorhomes so everyone is welcome and there’s space for all. For those just passing through on one of the many famous Lake District fell walks then we also have a Camping Barn offering comfortable overnight accommodation – we supply a bunk in a dry barn and you bring the rest. Our most recent addition is a sited Teepee/Tipi suitable for up to 7 people. The idea behind the Teepee is that we provide a ready erected tent, complete with wood burning stove, and you supply the bedding and camping equipment to complete your ‘glamping’ stay under canvas. The Teepee offers a truly great year round experience to those new to camping or looking for something a little different from a typical camping trip. The campsite, camping barn and Teepee all have the use of the on-site shower and toilet block situated just at the entrance to the farmyard.
