The campsite is very dog friendly and has a number of good local walks plus its very own enclosed space to allow your dog to have a good run around in the safety of the campsite.

The facilities are excellent and include everything you could possibly need and bags more. Spotless toilet and shower blocks, laundry, wifi, a reception and shop, and an onsite cafe serving excellent meals, drinks and snacks. On top of it all, the staff here are exceptionally friendly and helpful. It’s a happy place. The lovely fishing lakes are charming and tranquil, and open to all who wish to have a go - and it is a pretty serious affair; some absolute corkers have been pulled out of these waters. They are well stocked with carp, chubb, perch and tench among others.

At Fields End Water the large pitches are set out beautifully. There is a huge choice depending on your preferences and whether you are in a tent, a caravan or a large motorhome, with fully serviced pitches (water, electric, grey waste hook-up) or regular pitches (with electric hook up), both on grass and hardstanding, and the large spaces give you plenty of room to set up and have some distance from your neighbour. You can choose to pitch up in the main caravan park, or the grassy paddock or set up your motorhome right near the water’s edge by booking one of their brand new Waterside pitches. Another new addition to the Waterside area are four boutique glamping pods, and if you are looking for a luxurious stay and something a bit special, then this is the place for you. They come complete with underfloor heating, ensuite toilet and kitchenette. You are just metres from the lake and fishing is free if you stay here, so there are no excuses not to try out your angling skills! Aside from the glamping pods, there are 6 luxurious, hand built wooden lodges which come with a private hot tub, creating the perfect surroundings to relax, unwind and watch some fabulous sunsets. Situated in Cambridgeshire, Fields End Water is in an excellent position to explore all the surrounding area has to offer; the stunning cathedrals at Ely and Peterborough, the beautiful city of Cambridge, the town of Bury St Edmunds, Duxford Imperial War Museum and many local markets and historic towns.
