This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept caravans or motorhomes and usually tents. This is a club member only site - you can usually join on site We are on the edge of Wylam in the beautiful Tyne Valley, surrounded by countryside and yet only twenty minutes by road or rail to the heart of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Wylam, although small in size, has four pubs, two restaurants and a cafe. It is a very popular local and tourist destination in itself. The River Tyne is within 100 meters of the site and has fishing available. The village has several excellent walks from level to strenuous. The site is located on Hadrian's Cycleway Route 72 and is perfectly placed as a centre for cycling holidays due to our rail links to the east and west coasts. Wylam station is only five minutes walk away. Within two miles of Hadrian's Wall we are central to a large range of attractions and amenities. From the fabulous North-East coast to the Metro Centre, there is something for everyone within very easy reach.
