Gartfairn Farm CL is a quiet site, set on a working livestock farm, in Loch Lomond National Park, overlooking Loch Lomond. Adults/Children/Pets all welcome. The site offers 5 hardstanding pitches with electrical hook-ups and plenty of space for awnings etc. The site is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area, being 1 mile from Balmaha, on the banks of Loch Lomond. Balmaha boasts a shop, village pub, visitors centre plus boatyard where trips to Luss, Balloch or round the islands may be booked. The West Highland Way runs through Balmaha, so fantastic walks up the loch side, or to the top of the Conic, which is 1,200 feet, with the walk starting from the car park in Balmaha. Drymen is 3 miles from the site and has numerous pubs, restaurants, butchers, post office and gift shops. A bus service runs from the farm road end to Balmaha, Drymen and Balloch. Further afield, we are 50 miles to Edinburgh, 28 miles to Glasgow or 23 miles to the historic city of Stirling.
