Fox Wood is a beautiful, family-focused woodland campsite in the South Downs National Park, offering camping and glamping options, all with private campfire areas. There’s lots of space to relax, with room to pitch beside friends or for multiple families to camp together. There are also large woodland glades where parents and children can gather for organised school class camping weekends. Children can explore, build dens, make friends and enjoy the freedom of the forest, while adults relax around their own private campfire. At Fox Wood, cars park along a central track, with wheelbarrows available to move your belongings to your pitch. The campsite benefits from clean, modern facilities, with flushing toilets and eight hot showers with excellent water pressure. Don’t forget your walking boots or mountain bike! The great outdoors is right on our doorstep, with a public footpath just 10 steps across the lane from our woodland entrance, giving access to 1,300 acres of Angmering Park woodland, footpaths and bridleways. There’s plenty to explore, with deer, woodpeckers and other wildlife seen nearby. Beaches are a 10-minute drive away, while a 15-minute country walk leads to a family-friendly 16th-century inn with good food and a great beer garden. Fox Wood is a relaxed, natural place to reconnect with nature, spend time with family and friends, explore, unwind and make lasting memories. There's lots of space to relax and room to pitch beside friends or for multiple family groups to camp together. We offer family focused camping to families with young children and couples. No adult only groups please. Fox Wood is a dog friendly campsite with 2 dog friendly pubs on our door and within 10 minutes of dog friendly beaches. We have amazing boy's and girl's toilets which can be found in a purpose built modern block, where we also have powerful camp showers and good washing up facilities.
