We are a family run farm, with a 2.5 acre level camping field in an idylic location, with very easy access, but very rural with spectacular views of the Mendip Hills AONB. There are footpaths on the farm leading to Crook Peak, Wavering Down and also to Cheddar reservoir and onto the StrawberryLine and MendipWay footpaths/cycleways. We have fishing on the River Axe that runs through the farm, which is also suitable for canoeing. Next door there is a fishing lake, day tickets available £10. There is a lot of wildlife to see around the campsite, with regular sightings of deer, badgers, foxes, rabbits, otters and ornithologists will have many wild species, including some rare raptors to spot. Within a five minute walk are 3 good pubs, a BP garage (with LPG vehicle fuel point) and a shop for groceries, LPG, calor gas.
