Deep in rural Somerset, Splatt Farm Gardens is a spacious meadow campsite with fabulous views of the Quantock Hills.

OUR STORY After many years in the rat race of London, we decided as a family to invest in a simpler and more sustainable life.

So, we decided to leave the hustle and bustle of London chaos and enjoy life in the countryside in the quiet of the Somerset hills. We are also delighted to announce the arrival of new baby Bodhi to have joined the family in March 2021.

Our vision is as simple as the life we are aspiring towards: to create a happy and sustainable planet and our method is to create a microcosm of this utopia in the small way that we can using the space and resources we have available to us.

By 2025, we aim for a holistic wellbeing and happiness centre, with camping, glamping, meditation retreats, tours of the project and a sustainable agriculture education centre - enjoy it with us as we continue on our journey to grow and develop into something beautiful...

CAMPSITE RULES Here at Splatt Farm, we don't want to create unnecessary and restrictive rules. However, in order to ensure the happiness of all of our guests and neighbours, we ask that all guests follow the following:

1. Once unpacked and set up, please park your cars at the top end of the field near the entrance. No cars may be parked on or near camping pitches.

2. All fires, BBQs and stoves must be within the fire pit area on your pitch.

3. No amplified music is allowed on site after 9pm and no noise at all that disturbs others is allowed after 11pm.

4. This is an eco-friendly site. All recyclable rubbish must be separated and placed in the appropriate bin and all non-recyclable waste must be taken off-site with you.

5. Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am.

6. If your group is under 21, a behaviour deposit of £20 per person is required and if your group is under 18, no alcohol is allowed.

7. Your camping pitch must be left as you found it.
