# Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway

> The Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway

The Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway line dates back to 1905 and runs on a 2' 6? gauge engine and track size. Some of the carriages are available to the elements but with the full roof, well suited for obtaining the most readily useful of both worlds. The museum area offers a charming variety of historic wagons to study, plus an excellent model railway that young ones (also ones your size) will love to look at in action!Guided trips can be obtained too to obtain the data that is most and level form the experience, taking in behind the scenes sights like the Engine Shed, the perfect treat for chuff heads of most ages! Or the self-guided Museum Walk passes by the hotel that is insect the cockroach area! There is more natural wildlife found regarding the nearby Kemsley Down.So long since it heaves it self up to cross the connection, but this will be fine while they behave by themselves you may also take your family dog along on your own train journey and they're going to cheerfully provide them some water during the cafe too. It's worst noting for nervous little (or big!) people that the train has a tendency to not only make extra noise but slide and squeak a little. You will get across 118 spans and 5 bridges regarding the viaduct and pass some scenery that is truly gorgeous's a unique Santa service held annually too, outstanding regular treat for the smalls.
