Lincolnshire Lanes is the charming little campsite that offers quirky glamping options along with 3 star self-catering holiday log cabins. Set in the peaceful Lincolnshire countryside, this relaxing campsite has three areas you can pitch on depending on your requirements. We are a family friendly site and offer facilities to accommodate guest of all ages. There is so much space, children (and adults) make their own fun. Be at one with nature and feel what it’s really like to take a step away from your busy lives and just chill. Regular food foods come to site in weekends - check out their website or social media to get dates of whats on. To occupy the children we do have a small play area with a slide and swings, a small craft and play hut, den building area, bush craft workshops in the summe rholidays. Situated in the beautiful English countryside, 10 miles north of the historic Roman City of Lincoln, Lincolnshire Lanes has a good old-fashioned feel to it.

Accommodation types

  • Bow Top Romany Caravan — Step back in time and imagine, the Romany travelers sitting on board this beautifully painted wagon as their horses pull them to a picturesque setting. This perfect little glamping option allows you to enjoy a holiday with a difference. Positioned on our ‘quiet side’ nestled within large conifer it is close enough to amenities like the toilet block but feels like your own secluded area with plants pots around, a camp fire and BBQ. Our Romany Caravan delivers an experience like no other. The bow top, 4-berth, wagon sleeps two in a cosy traditional double bed. The caravan offers traditional interior, providing a dining area with a table, which easily converts into the comfortable double bed. Also, a cosy sitting area. The compact wagon also presents a toilet, hand basin, twin ring cooker, kitchen sink, and wardrobe among other storage facilities. Outside there are seats on the front of the wagon, a picnic bench, a BBQ and a camp fire.
  • Tan & Tethera Furnished Glamping Bell Tents — Tan and Tethera, named after the traditional Lincolnshire sheep-counting rhyme, sleep up to 4 people each. Both Bell Tents include one double and two single beds to accommodate the whole family. Tan and Tethera, are located at the end of our Rally field. Once booked, about 7 days before arrival you will recieve an email stating which of the tents you are booked in, Tan or Tethera. We will alos send some site arrival information and infomation about the area and things to do. The private cornered off area is home to the two Bell Tents each with its own facilities of; A fire pit, electric hook up, a toilet hut, a picnic table, an outside kitchen with a stove, sink cooking and eating equipment. Our larger toilet and shower block is about a 2-5 minute walk from the bell tents. What’s there: -Sink with running water, washing up liquid, a sponge and washing up cloth. -Beds (a double and two singles), pillows with protectors and mattress protectors. -Kitchen and eating equipment such as a stove, pans, cutlery, plates, bottle opener etc. -Small Toilet hut with soap and toilet roll. -Firepit with one bin full of wood and some paper. (We suggest you bring firelighters to make lighting the fire easier) -A cool box. Freezer packs are available to freeze your own or hire in the reception/laundry area for a very small additional charge. What to bring: -Everything you would usually pack when staying in self-catering accommodation i.e. clothes, toiletries, towels, food (no seasonings or oil provided), etc. -Bedding: Bottom sheets, quilts and covers or sleeping bags, pillowcases. -A good torch. We do have lighting around the bell tents and a portable battery light but we highly recommend you bring your own too. -20p’s for the showers in the toilet block. -Firelighters, for fire pit (see above). -Suitable footwear for camping in a grass field, i.e. wellingtons when it’s a bit wet outside.
  • Main Field - Optional Electric Pitch — Set in the peaceful Lincolnshire countryside, this relaxing campsite has three areas you can pitch on depending on your requirements. We are a family-friendly site and offer facilities to accommodate guests of all ages. This field has a mixture of electric and none electric pitches. It has a small play area with swings and a slide next to an area for ball games with two goals.
  • Scandinavian Log Cabins — **Arrivals days MONDAY & FRIDAY.** Our Traditional Scandinavian Log Cabins are hidden amongst a grove of conifer trees and offer the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. Both our, Arthur Sims and Isaac Newton, self-catering Log Cabins offer full gas radiator central heating. They each sleep up to six people. They are made up of a double bedroom, twin bedroom, and children’s bunk bedroom, a bathroom, kitchen, large lounge-diner, veranda and enclosed outside area. Each log cabin also has WIFI. The lounges in each log cabin contain; central heating, two sofas, a table and six chairs, Freeview TV with Netflix, Rakuten TV, I player etc with 1000’s of TV shows and films, board games and a selection of books. The kitchens include a gas cooker, small dishwasher, microwave, and fridge-freezer. Also, the cabins include tea and coffee making facilities, as well as ample cooking utensils and tableware. Washing machines and tumble dryers are located in the main campsites' laundry room. Outside, each log cabin boasts a veranda with a table, six chairs and a rocking chair. Also, an outdoor BBQ is available at the cabins, in an enclosed area, perfect for enjoying our tranquil location with your loved ones and four-legged friends.
  • Rally Field - Non-Electric — Set in the peaceful Lincolnshire countryside, this relaxing campsite has three areas you can pitch on depending on your requirements. We are a family-friendly site and offer facilities to accommodate guests of all ages. This field has four electric pitches A, B, C & D that are fixed pitches but apart from that none electric pitches do have pitch numbers therefore if you book a pitch here, when you arrive you can pitch up where you like around the edge of the field. (Except the hedge nearest the farmhouse) Historically for camping rallies (hence the name), this field is perfect for groups that would all like to be next to each other and do not need electricity.
  • Quiet side (Adults Only) - Electric Pitch — This section of the site is for adults (18+) only who would like a quiet area on site. Set in the peaceful Lincolnshire countryside, this relaxing campsite has three areas you can pitch on depending on your requirements. We are a family-friendly site and offer facilities to accommodate guests of all ages. The nature of the area with large conifer trees does mean the pitches are quite shaded, if you are just adults but looking for a sunnier pitch you are more than welcome to book a family field pitch.
  • Main Field Non-Electric Pitch — Set in the peaceful Lincolnshire countryside, this relaxing campsite has three areas you can pitch on depending on your requirements. We are a family-friendly site and offer facilities to accommodate guests of all ages. This field has a mixture of electric and none electric pitches. It has a small play area with swings and a slide next to an area for ball games with two goals
  • Yan & Pethera Un-Furnished Basic Glamping Bell Tents — Yan and Pethera, named after the traditional Lincolnshire sheep-counting rhyme, sleep up to 4 people each. Each bell tent is a traditional 5 metres round tent with a suitable indoor tent flooring. The tents are empty so you can personalise your camping experience by bringing your own comfy blow-up beds etc and make the space your own without packing and putting up a tent (please see what to bring below). Once booked, about 7 days before arrival you will recieve an email stating which of the tents you are booked in, Yan or Pethera. We will alos send some site arrival information and infomation about the area and things to do. What to bring: Think of staying in our basic bell tents as camping but without having to take the tent, so you can make the space as luxurious or as basic as you like (not an exhaustive list). Some tips on the kind of things we’d pack: -Everything you would usually pack when camping i.e. clothes, toiletries, towels, food (no seasonings or oil provided), etc. -Beds (or mats) and Bedding: Sleeping bags, or quilts, pillows, blankets etc. -Seating for eating dinner. -A good torch. -20p’s for the showers in the toilet block. -A fire pit and wood. This must be off the ground and obviously, nowhere near the bell tent – we have bricks on-site you can borrow to put underneath. -Cool Box. We have freezer blocks you can borrow or freeze your own for a very small charge. -Suitable footwear for camping in a grass field, i.e. wellingtons when it’s a bit wet outside.
  • The Ark in the Woods - Glamping Pod — The glamping pod, also known as The Ark, is uniquely insulated and is an excellent way to engage with the great outdoors all year round. It is placed in a clearing of conifer trees, in your own little hidden area so you it really is tranquil and relaxing with birdsong in the mornings. The Ark’s clearing includes decking, an outdoor living kitchen and toilet facilities in addition to a picnic area and seating. The larger toiler and shower block are about a five minute or less walk away. You will need to bring your own bedding (see below for what to bring). **What to bring:** -Everything you would usually pack when staying in self-catering accommodation i.e. clothes, toiletries, towels, food (no seasonings or oil provided), etc. -Bedding: Bottom sheets, quilts and covers or sleeping bags, pillowcases. -A good torch. We do have lighting in the area and a portable battery light but we highly recommend you bring your own too. -20p’s for the showers in the toilet block. -Warm clothes and hot chocolate for star glazing. **Ideal for 2 adults & 2 children.**
