Stamford, Rutland, England
Tucked in a corner of England’s smallest county of Rutland, Top Farm is a traditional, adult only, family run campsite that welcomes friendly dogs on leads. The well-maintained site is a level grass paddock with electric hook-ups available. With views across open countryside towards the historic town of Stamford, we are on the outskirts of Ryhall village, which has a shop with post office, selling locally sourced produce and freshly baked goods and two village pubs both serving home cooked food. There is a regular bus service that runs from the village half a mile walk away giving access to Stamford and further afield. This is the perfect location to explore all that the area has to offer with historic towns, stately homes, in particularly Burghley House, its park and gardens and also Barnsdale Gardens, as well as beautiful countryside. Various water sports are on offer at Rutland Water and Tallington Lakes. Birdwatching and cycling can be found at Rutland Water or you can just sit, relax and watch the world go by. Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire are also on the doorstep with a wealth of things to do and discover.
