# Fforest Fields Caravan & Camping Park Fforest Fields is an award-winning, family-run caravan and camping site nestled in the hills of mid Wales. We also have a stone holiday cottage and a lakeside glamping field. You’ll be surrounded by the outdoors, with our 500-acre farm on your doorstep and abundant wildlife in the region. The AA are a well recognised and respected organisation and in spite of not having all the criteria (electric barriers, warden on site 24hrs etc) they felt that the site and facilities were worthy of the grading. We are not increasing our prices this year and we do not charge extra for holidays times and except for 'busy times' on our website, we always have pitches for those snap decisions to go camping! We were awarded the David Bellamy Special Distinction Award for 2013/14, our second time. It's been given to us this time for our very environmentally friendly new loo block, David Bellamy likes to recognise 'best practice' and only a very few sites are given this accolade every year. Hidden in a secluded valley birds abound and with direct access to the woods and hills of the farm, walking and biking are popular with our customers. We have wifi and television but we are deep in the hills and neither are brilliant. TMobile, Orange and Vodaphone work well but other networks struggle. Nearby Attractions There are many attractions in Mid Wales, famous for its lovely countryside, walking, mountain biking or just exploring in your car. It can offer festivals as diverse as Bog-Snorkelling to Victorian weeks. Within a few miles of the site are Llangors Lake for sailing and an excellent Rope Climbing Centre, pony riding on the Radnor Forest, a childrens play barn and a rally school!
