Skellerah Farm is a back to basics wild camping site in the Lake District National Park. As you may expect, things are pretty scenic here, with two fells within walking distance and a six-acre ancient meadow, part of a smallholding surrounded by the Corney Fell. This is a pretty simple site, so you can go completely off-grid in nature. The grass is left to grow, so there are splendid meadow flowers and the little river Annas (sourced from the Corney Fell) runs through too – the go-to place for a bathe or to collect clean drinking or cooking water, as there is no mains water supply and no showers. Beyond the camping area there's a further nine acres with newly planted trees Coronavirus Update We are taking bookings - see our opening dates below.
