This is a two acre, adults only, rural site situated on the banks of the lovely River Stort but within a 20 minute walk into the town centre. It is a handy site for persons wishing to fly out of/into Stansted airport (even leaving their vehicle with us whilst they are away). It is an ideal place for canoeists, cyclists and walkers exploring the river to camp. Particularly walkers as it is situated on the Hertfordshire Way long distance footpath. You can fish from the banks of our site if you wish and it has been known for us to lend out a rowing boat.
