At the moment we are only admitting visitors who make reservations prior to arrival, this includes visitors wishing to camp as well as caravans, motorhomes and camper vans. Located in a particular beautiful and quiet part of the Lake District, away from the noise of towns and traffic, an ideal location for walking and relaxing. Exceptional panoramic views of the surrounding fells,the site looks down towards Derwent Water and in the distance Bassenthwaite Lake. A site for families, e.g. mum,dad, and children, singles or couples. Sorry, but due to our 10.30pm Silence rule we do not allow groups. We admit new arrivals between 8am and 9.30pm. Well behaved dogs are welcome without charge. Dogs must be on a lead at all times while in the camping fields but we now have a large Dog Walk area where well behaved dogs can be exercised.
