Shaftesbury Country Touring Park ( was Blackmore Vale ) is a friendly, rural caravan and camping park outside Shaftesbury in Dorset. Located in the heart of Hardy country, the Caravan Park is a level, easy access site nestled in a rural idyll, surrounded by the picturesque Dorset rolling fields that offer the perfect bolt hole from the stresses and strains of modern life. Bring along your fishing rods as on our Lakeview there is a fishing lake. (Don't forget you will need a licence to fish) This peaceful site welcomes caravans, motorhomes and tents. With plenty of grass space and also hard standing pitches large enough for even the biggest of motor homes and caravans. Dogs are welcome too There are toilets, showers, washing up facilities and chemical waste point. We have a modern toilet and shower block with disabled facilities and a refurbished second shower block. We also have a laundry on site for guests use. Electric hook-up is also available, as these are in demand, especially in the high season, it is recommended that early booking be made clearly indicating if a hook-up is required.
