Why stay here ... Set on a small hillside, Minehead Club Site is spread across several flat areas, all of which are attractively screened from the road with plentiful trees and bushes. For shopping and all the attractions of a traditional British seaside resort, Minehead is only a 15-minute walk from the caravan site. Another tempting attraction to visit when touring in Somerset is nearby Dunster Castle. Beautiful Exmoor, famous as Lorna Doone country, is also a popular draw, especially for walkers and those with dogs. There are also excellent bus links to explore the Quantocks, Porlock, Taunton and Dulverton. The coastal path near Minehead Club Site is marvellous, with many of its vistas being more impressive than the last. The little lanes and small, intimate villages, such as Porlock, Porlock Weir, Selworthy and the twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are all well worth the visit for their charm and easily accessible from the caravan park. You can also enjoy a scenic steam train journey to Bishops Lydeard which takes in plenty of stops along the way. Be it countryside walks or a taste of the rural life, there is bound to be something to delight visitors to this tranquil destination.
