Welcome to Your Little Escape Tucked away on the edge of Canterbury, behind the village, in the countryside and open skies, our little campsite is all about slowing down, breathing out and enjoying the simple things. No rushing. No fuss. No pressure. Just a peaceful place to pitch your tent, light a fire, watch the stars and enjoy being outdoors. We’re a back-to-basics, relaxed campsite with plenty of space to unwind. Wake up to birdsong, enjoy a slow morning with a cup of coffee, spend the day exploring Canterbury or the coast, and come back in the evening to sit around the fire and watch the sun go down. It’s a place where you can switch off from the everyday and reconnect with the outdoors. Come as you are Whether you’re a solo traveller looking for some peace and quiet, a couple escaping for a few nights, or a family looking for a little outdoor adventure, you’re welcome here. We keep things relaxed and friendly. There’s no need to rush around or worry about getting everything just right. Settle in, make yourself comfortable and enjoy the space around you. For those who fancy something a little more comfortable, we also have a selection of unique off-grid stays, including cosy shepherd huts, bell tents and a beautifully restored gypsy wagon. Each has been thoughtfully positioned to give you your own little space to relax, with comfortable beds, outdoor seating and fire pits. Plenty to explore We’re ideally placed for exploring both the countryside and the coast. Our local village of Blean has a farm shop, convenience store and two lovely family pubs, so you don’t have to go far if you need supplies or fancy heading out for a meal. For walkers and cyclists, the Crab & Winkle Way runs through beautiful ancient woodland and all the way to Whitstable. Spend the day exploring the woods, wander along the coast, visit the harbour or treat yourself to some of Whitstable’s famous oysters, or visit the bison in the woods. And when you’re ready to come back and relax, your pitch is waiting for you. Simple comforts Although we like to keep things simple, we’ve made sure you have the essentials you need for a comfortable stay. We have clean flushing washrooms, hot showers and fresh drinking water, along with a communal kitchenette with solar charging points and a small fridge. (please be aware they run of solar and there is no other electricity on site) And dont forget to bring a torch! There’s a communal fire pit for evenings under the stars, seating areas and an indoor space if you need somewhere to shelter. Children can enjoy our mini trail, badminton net and hammock swings, while the whole family can head up to the viewpoint platform for a spot of stargazing, birdwatching, reading or simply doing absolutely nothing. Dogs are welcome too, so there’s no need to leave your four-legged friend at home. but please ensure they are on a lead at all times. A few things to know We’re a back-to-basics campsite, and part of the charm is keeping things simple. As we're just a small paddock, there is a designated car parking area for guests, and we provide trolleys to make it easy to get your belongings from the car park to your pitch. We’re also a bin-free campsite, in line with our conditions, we are committed to being low impact . so we kindly ask guests to take their rubbish home with them at the end of their stay. It’s also a simple way of helping us keep the site clean & tidy while preserving the countryside air for all. Most importantly, relax. This is your time away.
