Watercress Farm CL is a level site situated amidst the fields and trees of the Weald, just south of the (Darling Buds of May) village of Pluckley. The CL has a wide easy access hard surface trackway and pitches to ensure all weather use. Each of our wide pitches has electric hookup, close to fresh water taps and chemical emptying. There are many newly planted trees and shrubs plus a flower meadow. A dog walking area is provided. The site is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to the coast and the many nearby historic towns and villages. Local amenities include a farm shop, a village shop and 2 excellent pubs and a restaurant serving good food all within 1 mile. More serious shoppers will enjoy Ashford (approx 7miles) with major supermarkets department stores and the famous designer outlet or Canterbury (approx 20 miles). The motorway M20 is just a few minutes drive giving easy access to the channel tunnel and the channel ferry crossings. Watercress Farm CL has wide easy access, hard surface roadway and five hard standing pitches, with ample space between them, grass pitches also if preferred. Each pitch is wide enough to park a car and caravan at the side and all have electric hook up and plenty of room for awning on the grass or hard pitch. We do not have showers and toilets. The usual water and disposal facilities are close at hand. Many trees and shrubs have been planted to enhance the natural setting and a wild flower meadow is being created on the south side of the three acre site, with cut pathway all around to walk dogs. We are open all year and dogs are welcome. We have availability for the coming bank holiday and Christmassy our roads and pitches are hard standing with lots of brass and trees all around Give us a to check availability Nearby Attractions There are many historic towns and villages nearby such as Tenterden with its broad High Street shops, pubs ,teashops plus good restaurants. A bit further is Canterbury with its Cathedral and Faversham with many historic buildings. Good access to Dover ferry and channel tunnel & other seaside towns. Ashford town has all the usual stores plus the Designer Outlet shopping and a Cinema complex . Our local farm shop at the end of rose farm lane turn right has great local produce and post office come store at the top of pluckley hill opposite the Black horse pub The closest pub Is the Rose & Crown at Mundy Bois has good beers and great food and is highly recommended.
