Located just on the outskirts of Melton Mowbray, set in 150 acres of rolling Leicestershire countryside. Our guests enjoy the tranquility of the site with a variety of local activities nearby to suit anybody’s needs and wants. Please note, we do allow families to stay in our log cabins and children are permitted to use the fishing lakes on the complex with adult supervision and the tearoom as day visitors. Situated in the Leicestershire countryside on 150-acres, Eye Kettleby Lakes could be the ideal getaway for keen anglers and adults seeking a quiet, scenic holiday, the fishery are part of the family run site which has been established for more than 20 years. Our luxury adult only touring and camping site has been awarded 5 stars by Visit Britain. The touring park is split into two main areas offering 5 star facilities, the northern site developed in 2012 has 61 pitches (47 full service), The southern part of the park is brand new and opened in April 2018 with 69 full service pitches. If you don't want to stay on the campsite, Eye Kettleby Lakes also offers 12 traditional, round-log cabins that are available to rent as well as 8 brand new luxury glamping pods that are set in the woods, equipped with en-suites and kitchenettes. They are the ideal accommodation for anyone wanting a quick get-away without the hassle of towing their caravan, also perfect for anglers or anyone needing a peaceful week away. If you are looking for something to do whilst staying at Eye Kettleby Lakes, Melton Mowbray is just 3 miles away which is a historic market town famous for its fabulous pork pies and Stilton cheese. Market days are Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, they also just a short drive away from Belvoir castle, Woollaton Hall as well as a Leicester and Nottingham city centre. Set across one and half acres our site boasts beautiful country walks and offers excellent access to our seven coarse fishing lakes, with between 10 and 60 pegs each to allow a broad range of fishing activities. Various types of carp, bream, barbel, tench and roach can be caught to name a few, and guests can request food and drinks to be delivered to them by the lakeside in the mornings. Nearby Attractions Local Market town Melton Mowbray is only 3.5 miles from the complex. Here you will find weekly farmers markets & car boots. Melton is a quaint market town, but has all the main stores for your convienance and highly recommended Cheese & Pork Pie shops! Our nearest city is Leicester (approx 20 mins drive)
