We have 11 spacious camping pitches (for tents or campervans) and 4 Yurts spread out over our 30-acre site. All in a peaceful and stunning location. Our Mongolian Yurts; exactly like those used in the steppes of Mongolia have found a perfect home at Hillfort. Situated in a stunning location in Pembrokeshire National Parkland our site is a haven of peace and tranquillity, with amazing views from our little mountain and Iron Age hillfort of the surrounding countryside and across Strumble Head to the sea.

**We do not provide bedding.**

**Each Yurt is equipped with:**

– Kitchen hut completed with pots/pans/cutlery/crockery and a camping stove with the gas provided. We do not provide cool boxes.
– Firepit and big BBQ. We do not provide charcoal and fire logs. You can purchase fire logs at our site.
– Picnic bench.
– Tea lights and battery-powered light bulbs.
– Double bed, double sofa bed and single futons/single bed and a table and chairs.
– We do not provide bedding.

The yurt is insulated and we have found warm enough during the summer most times. We have packed a few extra blankets into the chests in front of the bed in case there is a colder than usual snap. You just bring sleeping bags or sheets and pillows according to your needs.

Campervan Pitch

Pitch up on the hillside with dramatic views down to the sea or nestle yourself in an amphitheatre of birdsong down in the sheltered woodland valley. The sanctuary of the camping glade is only a mile’s walk from the breathtakingly beautiful bays of Abermawr and Aberbach, two secluded unspoilt beaches.

The higher pitches such as Gannet’s Ledge and Fulmar’s Nest have the most spectacular views down the valley to the coastline; they have a wonderful sense of open space and are a little closer to the bathrooms and the eco lodge restaurant and bar. The lower pitches such as Mermaid’s Purse and Kelp Beds benefit from the shelter of the woodland that swathes the lower part of the valley; each is a cosy suntrap immersed in birdsong.

Harbour Porpoise is a glamping pitch where you can stay in our Geodesic Dome. Grey Seal and Blenny’s Nook are beautifully sheltered pitches right next to the woodland at the lower side of the meadow, and very much sheleterd from any wind.

This is the perfect campsite for families, couples, small groups of friends, sea kayakers, walkers, cyclists, wild swimmers, bird watchers and nature enthusiasts, Welsh culture and history lovers, and in fact anyone who shares our love for Pembrokeshire and the wonderful natural world of the Welsh coastline.

**Things to remember:**

- Campervans can park up in our car parking area and will also have a pitch for a pup tent. We recommend choosing one of the higher pitches such Gannet’s ledge so that your pitch is near your campervan.

- Open grassy communal space for roaming free and playing Four large bathrooms each equipped with a hot eco-power shower, powered by an air source heat pump, toilet and hand basin.

- Drinking water taps around the campsite.

- Dish washing facilities with hot water.

- Large multi-terrain wheelbarrows for transporting camping gear from your car, which must be parked in the car park, to your pitch in the meadow.

- Bookable meals (full Welsh breakfasts, set hot lunches and set two-course evening meal) at the Preseli Venture eco lodge next door.

- Private bar at the eco lodge Wi-Fi around the campsite car park area Phone charging points and freezer available on site for your freezer packs.

- Well-behaved dogs are welcome.

- Cars & campervans only (total length not exceeding 6m) – no caravans, sorry.

- Sharing your pitch with another tent for family or friends, that’s fine, but if numbers are above 6 people, please book 2 pitches when booking and paying. 

- Quiet talking only between 10pm – 7am.

Luxury, elevated: a unique hemispherical wood-and-canvas structure nestled in a peaceful clearing of wild Welsh woodland
Elevated on a solid wood floor with a large bay window facing up into the canopy of tall twisting trees, the dome offers a unique glamping experience.
The Geodesic Dome is situated in a hidden woodland clearing at the foot of the camping field, in the pitch called Harbour Porpoise.

Ancient woodland which swathes the foot of the valley offers shelter from the sea breezes and immerses you in the uplifting chorus of woodland birdsong. This peaceful little suntrap feels blissfully private and removed, so you can relax and reconnect with nature.
Gaze upon the night sky from a cosy double bed with the crackling warmth of the wood burning stove and the twinkling of fairy lights. Another single bed, and a fold out single sofa bed make the dome a perfect family retreat which sleeps up to four people.

Outside, there are sun-loungers, a fire pit for camp fires, separate fire bowl with grill for cooking, and a picnic table. Also plenty of room for a pup tent if older kids prefer their own space.

Woodland glamping and meadow camping at its very best here.  Tucked into the gobsmackingly gorgeous north Pembrokeshire coast in Wales, Preseli Glamping is a small and very pretty campsite with spectacular sea views and pitches sheltered in woodland glades and on grassy meadows.  It is a peaceful rural retreat, surrounded by a rich array of plants and wildlife and is a wonderful site to come and relax in the beautiful Welsh countryside, well off the beaten track.

If you want to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park you have come to the right place.  It is a short walk through the woodland to reach the coastal footpath and the start of many wonderful hiking trails.  Or walk down to the secluded sandy beach; perfect for an early morning swim in the crystal clear waters.  For outward bound types, look no further than their very own sustainable activity centre - Preseli Venture - right on the doorstep (well...across the field) and offering all sorts of action man adventures, such as coasteering, surfing and sea kayaking - where you will be able to paddle out and spot seals, dolphins and a huge array of sea birds. To shepherd you through all these activities are knowledgeable, local guides, and the adventure days here are utterly brilliant if you fancy bringing out your wild side.

The campsite itself is beautifully laid out over a rolling meadow; if you have your own tent then you have a choice of a grassy pitch with dramatic sea views or a more sheltered spot down in the wooded valley.  All the pitches are a good size and are separated by newly planted trees; each has its own picnic bench and a firepit with a cooking grill.  There is also a communal grassy area for any gadding about that needs to be done.  Preseli Glamping is a member of the Greener Camping Club and here they are committed to eco friendly and sustainable camping; their excellent and meticulously clean shower and toilet facilities are solar powered, plus they are off grid, so any light will come from electricity-free sources.  Drinking water taps are dotted around the campsite and they also provide washing up facilities.  For glampers looking for a unique experience, a large and luxurious geodome is available to book, encircled in the trees at the far end of the campsite for extra seclusion.  It has a comfy double bed and two fold out singles, a wood burning stove, twinkling fairy lights and windows looking out into the canopy of trees beyond.  Bliss.

This is outdoor living in a beautiful corner of the country.  Dinner can be cooked around the campfire with the starry sky above, or if you want a night off, nip over to the neighbouring eco lodge restaurant at Preseli Venture.  This lovely lodge serves delicious food all day, from hearty Welsh breakfasts to two course evening meals.  Or, just sit by the woodburner and enjoy a local beer or play a game of pool; it is a brilliant place to relax and restore after a day exploring the Pembrokeshire coast. Preseli Glamping

The Bottom Field is an enclosed, natural field and is our car free, meadow camping only area. It stretches down the field looking towards the village and harbour of Goodwick. 

Here we have five tent pitches that are scattered around a ‘millenial-ithic’ stone circle and sheltered, up against the rugged Pembrokeshire hedges. Individual off the ground campfire are available while you stay here. It is a little further to access the facilities, but we provide trolleys to cart you washing-up and water in. At the rear of this camping field is the main car park and our vegetable garden.

Meadow Camping

The Top Field is a sloped open field which has views over Fishguard Bay and the rest of the site. There are 3 pitches to accommodate tents, camper-vans and caravans with electrical hook-up. It is only a short distance to the shower and toilet facilities. Individual off the ground campfires are available here along with a large communal fire pit and Gill's chickens are located just behind this field, foraging amongst the small wooded area that provides shelter.

We are a small family run campsite in Fishguard with only 8 pitches. We offer large camping pitches for tents, campervans, caravan and motorhomes. You can enjoy seaviews, campfires, meadow camping, dog friendly, separate showers and toilets per pitch, fresh eggs, onsite cafe, onsite pizza evenings.

**As part of the Greener Camping Club all visitors must be members. Membership is £10 annually and gives you access to a large number (and growing) of amazing campsites across the Uk all with the same ethos. For every member we sign up we receive at least one tree to plant. **

We are located in North Pembrokeshire with great access in all directions to explore the county and further afield if you wish. Head North to wonderful secluded beaches near Dinas and Newport. Or maybe the you could explore along the Gwaun Valley all the way up onto Carn Ingli mountain. In the Southerly direction is the tiny famous city of St.Davids with great coastal walks all along the coast to more famous film sets of Freshwater West and Broadhaven South.

There is plenty of Space. You may park by your camp. We aim to be, and still seem to be, one of those quiet campsites, that offers back to basics camping... but with back up Cwtching facilities in the background, and happily so.



Arymwny Camping Wild Wales

For camping there is plenty of room for traditional camping in any size tent, touring caravans or camper vans and we can accommodate any size Motor-Home and thousands of campers have enjoyed our site – however, if you are looking for something on par with a Caravan Camping Club site then you could be disappointed. On our rustic campsite, we have lots of electric hook-up points (please book early to avoid disappointment at busy times) around every field, including water facilities and washing-up areas. So for camping, you can go native and get away from it all by setting up camp in your own little corner of Pembrokeshire or you can set up camp in friends or family groups and enjoy what our campsite has to offer. There are spectacular views from everywhere on our campsite and a cracking sunset across the sea. We have 3 main large camping fields with additional satellite fields for those campers looking to get away from the main camping areas.   

Please note during the peak camping periods, we will bring in additional portable toilets to support our fixed toilet and shower blocks – these ensure that toilet facilities are in every field – they are cleaned daily and emptied on a regular basis.   We have a dedicated CCTV system that covers the campsite and provides that overarching security for peace of mind.

 Celtic Camping is a rustic open-field campsite, which provides you with loads of space to breathe, reconnect, explore, discover, play and relax whilst being surounded by our beautiful Pembrokeshire Coastline.   Set in 250 acres of open farm land, you can enjoy knockout ocean views, and have direct access onto the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path from almost any part of our campsite. This 186 mile long National Trail twists and turns its way through some of the most breathtaking coastline in West Wales if not the whole of Britain.

With any coastal camping, whilst it offers amazing seas views, it can at times be a little breezy – therefore you need to ensure that your camping equipment is robust enough to withstand our coastal weather systems and you should also be knowledgeable on tent erecting and the use of your camping equipment and the vehicle you intend to use (campervan, motor-home or caravan).  If you have not put up your tent for a while or you are a first-time camper, then turning up here and trying to erect your tent for the first time in breezy conditions is not recommended. We are on hand to offer advice and assistance.  Please also note we do not allocate pitches – we allow our campers to select a pitch that suites them and their requirements  – after all it’s your holiday, so we allow you to find somewhere that meets your needs, rather than us dictating where you should go.

Celtic Camping

This pitch provides everything including the kitchen sink! All you need is your tent and bedding - everything else is here, just a short walk from your parking space. The spacious polytunnel kitchen contains a 3 burner gas hob, sink and running cold water, a picnic table, pots and pans, cutlery and crockery. Outside there's another picnic table next to the firepit and grill, while alongside the kitchen is your own gas powered shower in its wooden cabin. With no mains electricity on the field, we've located your personal fridge freezer in the campsite shower block. Here you'll also find toilets, an electric shower, washing facilities and a washing machine.

This mega 20 x 25m grass pitch comes complete with an under cover kitchen while alongside is a gas heated shower for your personal use.

Your own fridge-freezer is an 80m walk away, in the campsite shower block, where you’ll also find toilets and washing facilities. Car parking is just behind the hedge.

Field kitchen
The deluxe grass camping pitch has its own fully equipped field kitchen with 3 burner gas hob, sink with cold running water, pots and pans, cutlery, crockery and picnic table. 

In keeping with our market gardening roots the kitchen is sheltered by a spacious polytunnel structure.

Fire pit and picnic table
Outside there’s another picnic table and a fire pit with grill for barbecues, dutch oven meals or sitting around star gazing on summer nights.

Deluxe Grass Camping Pitch

All 5 grass pitches are rotated to keep the turf in good heart. There are usually 3-4 pitches being camped on the main camping field, each separated by vacant pitches. The fifth pitch is sited at the near end of the deluxe camping pitch field. If pitches want to camp close to each other we usually site them on the campervan field - this is the only field where vehicles are allowed. No vehicles are otherwise allowed on site except for pitching and taking down tents on arrival and departure.

Only 5 pitches are in use at any one time. Each pitch is 10 metres wide. Camping gear, kitchen tents, awnings and gazebos must be pitched within the 10 metre spacing.

If you come with friends we will do our best to site you on adjacent pitches.

Picnic Tables
Every pitch has its own picnic table which you can place where it suits, either in a gazebo or under a tarp or just leave it al fresco depending on whether you want to use it as a meal table, a work table or somewhere for the kids to do stuff.

Campfire Camping
Lighting Campfires, cooking and Stargazing.

You can light a campfire in the evenings and enjoy its warmth and glow or you can hone your campfire cooking skills. Campers have roasted a chicken on a spit to perfection and stews are frequently made in dutch ovens so if you have a dutch oven or any heavy cast iron pots, do bring them with you.

You can also bring your own wood but logs and kindling are on sale at near cost price per net.

Recycling your waste
Colour coded bins.

We've made it as easy as possible for you to recycle all of your waste. There are colour coded bins clearly labelled for glass, metal, clean plastic, cardboard, food waste and - as a last resort - landfill.

We have provided the facilities and we hope you will do your bit for the environment and recycle conscientiously.

Non-Electric Grass Pitch

Located at the heart of the St Davids Peninsula within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Spring Meadow Farm is just 3 miles from both St Davids and Solva and within easy reach of spectacular coastline, exhilarating walks, lovely sandy beaches, surfing, kayaking, coasteering, fantastic wildlife and island boat trips.

- Conveniently situated just outside of Solva near St Davids in Pembrokeshire and set in its own flat 10 acres and with only 15 pitches, Ffynnonddewi is a back to basics get away from it all sort of place where you will find yourself surrounded by nature.
- No single-sex bookings of 6 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted)No Stags or Hens.

Set in its own 10 acres and surrounded by much more open countryside, Ffynnonddewi (pronounced fun-on-dhow-ee) is a back to basics get away from it all sort of place where you will find yourself surrounded by nature, just like camping used to be, but don't think we are left in the past, we have a newly built bathroom with hot showers and real flushing toilets, 4G mobile phone reception is available on most networks and we also have free, fast wi-fi across the whole site, for those that need to keep in touch with the outside world

The lighting is all solar powered as are the lockable phone charging lockers and campers freezer, but we do have spare batteries just in case the sun doesn't shine.

Just a mile from the pretty harbour of Solva and only 10 mins from both the wonderful St Davids and the fantastic beach at Newgale you will be perfectly located for exploring the St Davids peninsular and wider Pembrokeshire.

Camping wouldn't be camping without a campfire and we have fire pits for your use and plenty of wood available to purchase on-site.
There is nothing better than cosying up around a roaring campfire for a bit of stargazing and being only 5 minutes away from a designated dark sky observation point, the night skies can be spectacular.

If nature is your thing we are surrounded by it, we have buzzards, red kites, tawny and little owls all of which hunt on our land along with a couple of families of foxes and badgers.
Our traditional Pembrokeshire hedges are purposely left to grow long and are full of wildflowers such as honeysuckle, foxgloves, daffodils and primroses in the spring. These in turn are called home by many small mammals and lizards.

Due to countryside planning regulations, we are only able to share our space with you as part of The Greener Camping Club, which means we are open to members only.
When staying with us you will automatically be enrolled as a member.
For stays of three nights or more, this is included in your pitch fees for all stays of less than 3 nights a flat £10 will be added to the total cost of your holiday

The membership fee helps to fund environmental projects including habitat creation and a carbon offset scheme, which means that for every member that stays with us a tree is planted.

Membership runs from January to December each year, so if you are already a member then please let us know.

Ffynnonddewi Campsite

We welcome tents, caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents on our fully equipped pitches with private facilities. Max of 3 tents per pitch.

Each pitch has its own fully equipped camp kitchen, composting loo, a private shower with plenty of hot water, (heated by our 50KW solar PV array), washing up area, picnic bench and fire pit with grill.

The generous pitch sizes provide loads of space for your relaxing stay. Guests can enjoy walks around the fenced off pond area or to sit and enjoy the wildlife. Each pitch has an electric hook up facility if required (additional charge applicable).

A parking area adjoining the camping field allows guests to move cars after unloading to leave the field safe and peaceful for all guests.

Up at the farm yard we have fridges / freezers for guest use, facilities for charging phones etc, information board and a shop containing fire wood for your fire pit, various other essentials and locally sourced treats for your stay.

Upper Scolton Camping is a small campsite located on a working dairy and sheep farm in the heart of the Pembrokeshire countryside. Upper Scolton Farm has been run by the Reed family since 1936.

The farm is home to Andrew and Kathryn Reed, their two children Pippa and Charlie and Andrew’s parents Liz and Bill, all of whom look forward to meeting you and helping you to enjoy your stay.
The farm operates 365 days a year, together with the 300 dairy cows, the farm has a flock of prizewinning Texel Sheep.

The campsite site is situated in the “Pond Paddock” away from the busy farm area, for the safety and tranquillity of our guests. Adjoining the campsite area, is a large pond (fenced off), which attracts a wide variety of wildlife including kingfisher, moorhen, heron, wild duck, dragon flies, damsel flies, butterflies and a wide range of amphibians.

We are passionate about farming, wildlife and our environment. We are happy to show our guests around the farm and the work that we do. However, farms are busy places with large vehicles and animals, so visits to the animals and milking parlour are by appointment.

The farm was originally part of the Scolton Manor Estate. The Manor House and grounds are now open to the public and are within walking distance of the campsite. There are a variety of playgrounds for children, pleasant walks, mountain bike track, walled garden and café.

Secluded Pitch for a single tent with private camp kitchen and firepit for up to six people.

Coedfryn Farm is a small farm site, 10 minutes drive from the town of Newport in Pembrokeshire. All pitches have their own firepit and dining area with firewood supplied. You'll have some friendly neighbours to get acquainted with during your stay in the form of alpacas, a couple of molly lambs, some pygmy goats and a little shetland pony!

Each pitch has its own campfire, BBQ, picnic table and sheltered kitchen area. There is a large barn with a gas BBQ and lots of space for eating under cover and food preparation.

Coedfryn Farm

This secluded camping pitch is tucked away in a little glade in the woodland. Surrounded by wildlife this beautiful pitch makes the perfect place for getting away from it all with its own individual spaces with a wooden kitchen hut and eco-toilet at each. Communal fridge and a washing machine. Campfires permitted. Woods to explore.

The Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire were once covered by forest but today the area is better known for its expanses of open lowland and beautiful hills.
On its southern edges there’s a peaceful stretch of ancient woodland that still has a thoroughly timeless feel. Inhabitants cook over campfires, the smell of wood smoke lingering in the air, and children play in the long wild grass. It is, of course, a campsite and an excellent one at that.

There are just five camping pitches in total at Digs in the Wig campsite, each in a private clearing with its own campfire pit and stack of free firewood. The highest standards of sustainability have been reached and, as a result, facilities remain minimal and the wild, natural ecosystems here are largely untouched. Grassy clearings are strewn with tall buttercups and wild garlic grows in springtime beside the shadier patches of trees.

There are private eco loos and kitchens for each pitch, communal fridge-freezers, washing machines and also a cosy chill-out 'hwb' if you want to be a bit more sociable.
Digs is two miles from Maenclochog, where there’s a newsagents, café and petrol station. Slightly further are the towns of Narberth and Haverfordwest which will have just about anything you would need for your stay. Digs lends itself to those who want a peaceful camping experience and, of course, to those hoping to explore the stunning Preseli Hills.

**Worth Noting:** The Preselis have Special Area of Conservation status and are extremely popular with walkers. From hillforts and stone circles to ancient burial grounds, there are plenty of sights to appreciate, while newer Llysyfran Reservoir is two miles away and offers sailing, windsurfing and canoeing (along with cycling and walking on the seven-mile-long perimeter track).



Digs In The Wig

Hillfort campsite is set in a large countryside setting away from centres of population. Our camping units and Yurts are all at least 20 metres apart some more. The site is owner-managed by someone who is passionate about your holiday enjoyment and your welfare. We believe these factors, coupled with the fact that you will be holidaying in the great outdoors will offer you some peace of mind during the weeks and months ahead.

We have 11 spacious camping pitches and 4 Yurts spread out over our 30-acre site. All in peaceful and stunning location. Each pitch has a firepit for relaxing evenings around the campfire with friends or family. We also have on-site free for your use, hot and cold showers, 3 washing up facility stations,  and 3 composting WCs.



We are very lucky to be situated right within Pembrokeshire Coastal Park, which is a great spot for bird lovers! You will have the opportunity to spot many unique birds such as Meadow Pipit, Yellowhammer, Sky Lark, Chough, Peregrine, Stone Chat, Wheatear, Whitethroat, Willow Warbler, Linnet, Swallow, Goldfinch, Wren, Red Kite, Buzzard. Also nearby are Razorbill, Guillemots, Fulmar, Gannet. June is the best time to visit nearby Skomer Island as this is when the Puffins are feeding their young.

From Strumble Head, which is minutes from our site, you may see dolphins, orca, porpoise. Butterflies: Common blues, small heath, coppers, southern comma, skipper. Badgers and foxes!
