Ian and Tracy welcome you to Wayside campsite situated in the Shropshire Hills that is a
designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. On the outskirts of Aston-on-Clun, Wayside is ideally
located for whichever type of holiday you are looking for. For those looking for a quiet
get away from it all break then the nearby towns of Ludlow and Church Stretton offer
relaxed shopping within picturesque surroundings. Walkers of all ages and abilities are catered for with a
choice ranging from gentle strolls around the village green to easy access to the Shropshire Way.
Hopton and the Long Mynd are close by for cyclists, with tracks for every skill level.
Wayside is a quiet campsite on a gentle slope that has easy access from the road and is located
in a rural setting within walking distance of Aston on Clun. Nearby facilities include
a pub, shop and village hall within Aston on Clun and a train station in Broome.
Onsite facilities include toilet block with showers, motor home service point,
waste facilities and washing up area with freezer and microwave for guests use.
Barbecues and fire pits are on site and free to use. Local tourist information is on display
that informs of nearby attractions and events.
We are dog friendly but request that they are kept on lead at all times.
There are a number of places to eat nearby whether you are looking for a teashop,
good pub food or fine eating restaurant.
