# Fia Cottage

For self-catering accommodation in the Shetland Islands look no further than Fia Cottage, the number one choice for accommodation that little bit quirky in Shetland. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could possibly need on your Shetland holiday. It makes a homely, yet luxurious self-catering holiday accommodation and is in the district of Hillwell, Quendale, at the south end of Shetland.

The south end, locally known as the Ness, is a prime spot for sightseeing and nature watching. The charming cottage is 23 miles from Lerwick, the capital town of Shetland. Arriving at the cottage is a pleasure awaiting you, as you wind your way through some of Shetland’s stunning scenery. En route, you will see cliffs, pristine clean beaches and perhaps some wildlife in advance of your arrival at Fia Cottage.

On the other hand, a ten-minute drive from Sumburgh Airport gets you there effortlessly and ready to begin your Shetland holiday. Local amenities are 1.5 miles away at Dunrossness on the main Lerwick to Sumburgh road.

Children and babies mean bringing extra items, but a cot and high chair are available on request. We are happy to set up our cot before you arrive. For older children, we have a cupboard packed with games. We welcome dogs at Fia Cottage and provide a doggie blanket for use during your stay. Your dog can run safely off the lead on any of the beautiful beaches nearby

Please note we operate a no smoking policy in Fia Cottage.
