Preston Tower

Preston Tower is a superb exemplory case of medieval masonry, with all the walls stone that is containing being 7foot (Over 2m) thick! The ground flooring contains a guardroom and prison to investigate while the flooring that is first a full time income room and bed room, both of which are embellished because they was during 1400. The ground that is 2nd the system associated with the big clock at the heart of this tower, with faces on both edges. The bell because of this clock, housed in another of the turrets, weighs about 1100lbs (about 500kg)! The tower is surrounded by peaceful gardens, with three brief walks across the grounds and woodland that is nearby. There are lots of interesting flowers to see, a spring regarding the Woodland walk, and you will also see red squirrels if you are lucky!
