Barnstaple town, which is 2 miles from the campsite, has a historic pannier market, a leisure centre and an indoor tennis centre Tarka Tennis. The tarka cycle way can be joined at Barnstaple. There are many lovely beaches in the area, the nearest being approx. 7 miles from the campsite. We are just 5 miles from a 9 to 18 hole golf course and 2 miles away is a fly fishing and trout farm where you can catch your supper for a barbecue in the evening.
