# Glenardoch House

Set in its own riverside gardens, next to the bridge that is old. Peaceful location. Exceptional base for checking out the Trossachs and Western Highlands. Looking at the original website of Doune Village, Glenardoch House sits in its very own private and mature Victorian gardens alongside the Ardoch Burn, having its feature stone connection that is humpback from 1733. The home itself, originally Doune Cottage, was dramatically enlarged within the mid 19th Century by Alexander Ferguson, a confectioner that is local had made his fortune after inventing Edinburgh Rock. Keeping its initial features, Glenardoch House is now a large, comfortable and family home that is trendy.
