# Garden Lodge - Inverewe Garden

Osgood Mackenzie, the person whom created the horticultural Shangri-la of Inverewe Gardens, spent his last years surviving in this bright lodge that is spacious. With views of eucalyptus, Chinese lantern flowers and Californian lilac trailing down to the shores of Loch Ewe, Garden Lodge is an intoxicatingly breathtaking place to flake out among a huge selection of rare and exotic plants. You should have free run of the gardens after sunset when they are deserted, or thing that is first the early morning once the light is ideal. The cottage ended up being refurbished recently in modern style that is scottish. Sleeps 6. Accommodation details: 1 storey; 1 double and 2 twinbedroom; Sitting room with lumber burning stove and dining table; Kitchen with dining area; restroom; Shower space; Private garden. This part of Wester Ross is a spot to reconnect with nature with glassy lochs, paths carving through moorland and vast beaches. Poolewe could be the town that is nearest, within hiking distance through the lodge, with a hotel restaurant, a weekly market, and a post workplace. Gairloch lies 6 miles away; the butchers shop is someplace that is good fill up on local game, eggs and sausages.
