**Polladras Holiday Park** is an absolutely superb and very well presented touring and caravan site, located in the beautiful countryside of **southern Cornwall**. It is a very popular spot offering camping of all descriptions, including tents, caravans, motorhomes and static self-catering caravans. Visitors who stay here regularly comment on the brilliant welcome from the very friendly staff, who go out of their way to make sure that your holiday is the best it can be. The facilities here are excellent and spotlessly clean; toilets and hot water showers (including a family room and disabled shower room), launderette, free wifi, access to fresh drinking water in every field, a wet suit dunk tank, chemical disposal point and a communal kitchen area with fridge, freezer and microwave. There is also a play park for children with swings and climbing equipment, an indoor games room with table tennis, a large grassy area with football goals for those wanting a kickabout and for young explorers, a small nature trail runs through the park, with information about hedgerow life. Your four-legged friends haven’t been forgotten either; there is a large two-acre paddock (with doggy bin) for your dog to run about off the lead. They really have thought of everything! Just a few miles down the road is the lovely **Praa Sands beach**, backed by sand dunes and boasting some of the most extraordinarily white sand you’ll ever see. It’s the perfect beach for sandcastles and the shore is great for splashing about in. **Porthleven** beach and **Sennan Cove** are also close by; both world-class beach spots. The ancient market town of **Marazion**, with two sandy beaches and the historic tidal island of **St Michael’s Mount** is well worth a visit and only fifteen minutes away from the campsite. Although surfing, swimming and beach life are what Cornwall is famous for, it’s not all wetsuits and sandcastles; **Polladras Holiday Park** is also ideally located for many of Cornwall’s best known attractions. Within a half hour drive you can get to most of the highlights of South-west Cornwall, including **Flambards Theme Park**, **St Ives**, **Falmouth** and the National Trust’s **Gardens of Glendurgan**. Trebah and Trewithian gardens are also close by. Walkers will love the variety of different walks along the South West Coast Park, all with stunning views out to sea.
