Anglesey Outdoors Providing Accommodation and Excursions in Anglesey - A purpose-built facility for individuals, families and groups. Just a short walk from the Beach, it is the perfect location for exploring the coastline We are a small personal Centre run by a dedicated team. We provide a welcoming atmosphere and individual service to help you get the most from your stay. We can accommodate up to 76 residents within the Centre. We also offer sole occupancy for your group if you prefer. Anglesey Outdoors Centre is open all year. During the winter months our visitors are mainly sea kayakers, walkers and climbers who come to take advantage of the quieter season and mild climate. From March onwards as the days draw out and the water temperature increases our guests have many reasons for visiting Anglesey. Set in fourteen acres of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just a ten minute walk from Porth Dafarch beach, with views of the spectacular Snowdonia Mountain Range, the centre offers itself as the prime location for all things outdoors. From coasteering, to canyoning, to sea kayaking. Or for those preferring to stay dry, there’s rock climbing, bush craft and so much more, all brought to you by friendly, expert instructors. We really are the outdoor adventure playground you’ve been dreaming of.
Accommodation types
- Glamping Pods — If you fancy getting back to basics but aren’t quite ready to sleep under canvas, then our pine-clad, heated Glamping pods are perfect for you. Equipped with a kettle and a microwave, you have everything you need to start your day right. Early-risers may even catch the sunrise over the mountains from your veranda. After a day of thrill seeking, return to your cosy pod and enjoy a good night’s rest on the comfortable beds, ready for more action tomorrow. Each pod sleeps two people with use of the spotless communal showers and WC which are a short walk from the pods but. There is also a composting loo just next door.
- Seren Yurt — Seren (Star in Welsh) is our premium Yurt. With mains electricity, separate kitchen hut, alfresco dining area and a wood fired hot tub this really is the ultimate glamping experience. Seren is sited in its own private, secluded clearing. It is the ideal yurt for a group of friends, a family or a romantic getaway for two, guests can enjoy the private hot tub or just sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity this charming accommodation offers. The beautiful beaches of Porth Dafarch and Trearddur Bay are just a short walk away along with a plethora of pubs, restaurants and shops in the local area.
- Pelorus Eco Den — Our Eco Dens are a great first step into the world of Glamping, with Heating supplied by the onsite Biomass and electricity created by our onsite Solar Farm. After a day of exploring all that Anglesey Outdoors has to offer, you and up to four people can step into your very own cosy den, complete with en-suite shower and toilet, small kitchenette and comfortable beds, all designed to ensure your evenings are as easy and relaxing as possible. You are on holiday, after all.
- Traeth Yurt — Traeth (or Beach in Welsh) is ideal for a couple or single traveller. Set in a private area, nestled amongst the trees sits our smallest yurt. With a private deck area it is ideal for a some alfresco dining on the barbecue. It is fully furnished with a double bed, storage, kitchenette and the all important wood fired stove for cosy nights in. A five minute walk away is the beautiful Blue Flag beach of Porth Dafarch and the Coastal Path making it an ideal location for all things outdoors.
- Ty Pen Annexe — Adjoined to our Main Centre, is the self-contained Ty Pen Annexe, which offers groups a more private style of accommodation. With three bedrooms, an open-plan lounge, fully equipped kitchen and it’s own private barbeque patio, the annexe offers you a real home away from home. Better yet, end your day of adventuring by watching the sunset over Holyhead Mountain from your very own balcony. If you find yourself in the annexe as part of a larger group using the Main Centre, fear not, you won’t miss out on the action, as the centre is accessible through a short corridor. The Main Centre provides you the ideal base to make the most of all that Anglesey Outdoors and the surrounding area has to offer.
