Despite being large and spacious, with 245 pitches, the campsite offers many quiet and secluded pitches. With well-maintained facilities including washing machines, dryers, dishing washing area, outdoor play area and dog walking, Hertford Club Site is a well laid-out site. Lying on the outskirts of the attractive market town of the same name, Hertford Club Site is surrounded by rolling countryside. Take a walk into the town centre via the River Lea towpath walk, or head to Balls Park, a nearby park excellent for dog walking. Hatfield House, Garden and Park, a Jacobean house rich in paintings, furniture and tapestries, and with 1,000 acres of park with woodland trails, also makes for a great day out.
