Tissington Caravan and Motorhome Site is situated on the limestone way in the beautiful village of Tissington. The site is a one acre level/gentle slope that is open all year. It has three hardstanding pitches, grass pitches, electric hookups, elsan emptying point, drinking water and recycling bins as well as a well-stocked information shed with leaflets to local attractions. With easy access and only 400 yards to the Tissington Trail, a great location for cyclists and walkers. Tissington has a selection of shops and businesses such as a butchers, sweet shop, candle workshop, plant nursery, gift shop and tea rooms. The Jacobean hall is open to the public several times throughout the year. There is also a good bus service to Ashbourne and Buxton, passing through other Peak District villages. In close proximity to Dove Dale and less than a 30 minute drive from Bakewell and Matlock, we are a good base for attractions such as the heights of Abraham, Carsington Water and Alton Towers.
