Our luxury converted Bedford TK horsebox is sited in the meadow of Little Low Haugh in Mitford, just 0.9 miles from Morpeth. With stunning panoramic views of the ancient Borough Woods enveloping the quiet little spot it sits in. This classic TK has been described as a cottage on wheels, with handmade furnishings, hot shower, wood burning stove, gas hob, outdoor dining and decking area, and LED lighting throughout. The sleeping area is a double bed with luxury bedding, with additional sleeping space for a small adult or child on a single sofa day-bed. The toilet facilities are portable eco-friendly dry toilets that are located adjacent to the Horsebox in a converted railway luggage carrier. Hand washing facilities, toilet roll, soap, and hand sanitiser are all provided within the unit.

- 1964 Bedford TK — Set in an ancient wooded valley spanning six acres, our Bedford TK has been lovingly restored from a horsebox into a luxury glamper van for your off-grid getaway in Mitford, Northumberland. Described as a cottage on wheels, stunning panoramic views of ancient woodland surround the quiet little spot it sits in. Our first glamper to be renovated, the 1964 Bedford TK is an off-grid luxury home on wheels. The Horsebox is situated in a quiet meadow with: – Solar electricity & USB charging ports– Hot shower– Complimentary Faith in Nature shampoo, conditioner and body wash– Towels & bedding– Gas boiler and hob– Wood burning stove with oven– Outdoor fire pit & cast iron cooking set– Outdoor breakfast bar & canopy– Outdoor decking area The sleeping area above the cab features a double bed with a memory foam mattress complete with luxury feather bedding and a beautiful porthole window to gaze out of at night. There is additional sleeping space on the sofa day-bed, which can be used as a bed for another guest, ideally a child but it could also accommodate an adult. Another child could sleep on a pull-out mattress if needed for a family of four. Children however are welcome to camp outside of the wagon if they want to. The outdoor area has a cute decking space with seating, canopy & breakfast bar to the side of wagon with stools, tables and a fire-pit for cooking or relaxing by. The site is located just 0.9 miles from the ancient market town of Morpeth and the train station, but is far enough away to feel secluded.
